This is a contract position only through NPI’s contract service provider. The incumbent will be working a 40-hr work week.

Job Responsibilities
Edit technical documents translated from Japanese to English. Assist with bilingual term list and other translation support projects. Some translation of technical documents possible.

Job Requirements

• Bilingual, with 3 or more years of editing experience, preferably in technical field, especially semiconductors.
• Familiarity with steppers/scanners desirable, knowledge of Trados software very desirable.
• Strong technical/colloquial Japanese and excellent English communication skills required.
• Must be flexible with strong customer focus, time management, and communication skills.
• Able to interact successfully in a highly multicultural workplace.
• Interested in keeping up with technology in the field.
• BA/BS in a language-related field, or equivalent.
