Japanese-English Desktop Publisher (DTP)

This is a contract position. It is for 15-hr/week, and so is perfect for a translator who is interested in DTP.

Job Responsibilities
Prepare source (Japanese) documents for translation and perform DTP on final English documents. Some translation involved.

Job Requirements

• Bilingual (Japanese/English) with a strong understanding of technical and business documentation.
• Expert user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access). Adobe applications skill (Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator). Experience with Trados a plus.
• Willing to solve problems, using software applications.
• Very precise and detailed oriented.
• Enthusiastic about learning new things.
