A leading investment bank is seeking a motivated, experienced editor/translator for a full-time in-house position.

The ideal applicant will have a very high level of English writing skills with substantial experience in bilingual editing (accuracy checks) for a financial institution. The position also requires native level Japanese language reading ability and in-depth knowledge of the financial sector.

Job description: Check Japanese-English translations of equity reports, produced in-house or by outsourcers. Identify and correct problems with numerical figures, industry jargon, and accuracy of translation. Also some translation may be required.

The client is looking for individuals that have a very high standard of translation skills and who have a very good understanding of the financial sector. The company will consider candidates who require a work permit.
