Impulse Japan, Inc. is a translation company located in Koto-ku, Tokyo. We are currently searching for a native English speaker to fill an in-house translator/checker position. Someone who has translation experience is preferred; however, we will consider candidates who have successfully completed a program at a translation　or Japanese language school. This position involves commuting to the Tokyo office every weekday.

Job Description: Translation and checking/proofreading (correcting errors and making sure no portion of the translation is missing), mainly related to tourism and general business.
Work hours: 9:00 - 18:00 (8 hours). Occasional overtime may be required.
Vacations: Saturday, Sunday, public holidays, summer break, New Year break, congratulation or condolence leave
Compensation: From JPY 200,000/month depending on experience and ability.
Benefits: Full commuting costs, social insurance.
Initial trial period: 3 months.

Requirements:
1. Translation experience or equivalent education.
2. Basic computer skills.
3. Ability to communicate in Japanese.
