To search by number on this page, enter JP followed by the Japanese era year (or Gregorian year) and a 6-digit number (like JP55091663). Use a zero to fill in if there aren't six digits after the era number, but don't use a zero if the era number is less than 10.

Search for Japanese patents and utility models from the Japan Patent Office. Use the format as indicated, writing "H09" not "H9" for Heisei year 9, and using single-byte character input.
