My academic interests include language acquisition, linguistic and cultural anthropology, dialect studies, religion and religious texts, and human biology, nursing (specifically geriatric), and emergency medicine. Privately, I enjoy reading all kinds of books in as many languages as I can manage, mountain hiking and climbing, and travel in general and nautical travel specifically. On a social level, I am always interested in the work of non-profit and charity groups at large.
