Description

I have lived in Tokushima since 2003. I studied at Doshisha University in Kyoto for one year in 2001-02. I became interested in translating theatrical works when I met the Ryuzanji Company theatre group in 2000 during their Canada tour, and they invited me to accompany them to Egypt for the 2001 Cairo Experimental Theatre Festival. I would love to translate a Japanese contemporary work of theatre into English someday.
